All of the actions on this page, and availability of the page itself, are dependent on your access level.

The Users page is where new users can be added and existing users can be edited.

The "dotdotdot" context menu at the end of each row provides the following actions:

  • View User
    • this option displays all of a users details (excluding password), and allows them to be updated
  • Reset Password
    • this option allows a new password to be set for the user
  • Disable User (if user is enabled)
    • disabling a user prevents them from logging on and accessing the system
    • disabled users are not counted for billing purposes
  • Enable User (if user is disabled)
    • enabling a user allows them to log on and accessing the system
  • Delete User
    • deleting a user removes them from the system, but existing references to the user (e.g. job assignments, tasks) will remain
    • this is reversible, but only by a Road Direct system administrator
    • deleted users are not counted for billing purposes
  • Availability
    • this option allows periods of unavailability (e.g. leave, appointments) to be booked for a user


Any disabled users will appear "greyed out" and in italics at the bottom of the list.
