Field Staff Notes

These are generated in three different ways by field staff onsite. Office staff will refer to these notes when creating invoices.

When a staff member creates a task using Record Time in eBoard, they will add a note on the initial screen. This note shows under Field Staff Task Note when you hover over a task in Tracking Beast Mode. When adding equipment to a task in Tracking, a note can be entered about the type of closure(s) set up onsite or why certain equipment was used. A new note can be added when editing equipment. This can be helpful to explain any differences from the planned closure(s) to the closure(s) set up onsite. When adding equipment to a task in Tracking, a note can be entered for the use of staff creating an invoice (for example, any extra charges incurred while onsite, or if planned equipment was not used). A new note can be added when editing equipment.

Office Notes

These are generated in three different ways by either field staff onsite or office staff. Office staff will refer to these notes when creating invoices.

Daily Job Note
One-Off Charge
These can be made either when a field staff member is editing their times in a Tracking task or by office staff in the Tracking job details screen. Day specific job notes can be recorded in eBoard (for example, if there are any reminders for field staff for a job or any extra invoicing information). Office staff can record these by using the Add/Edit Daily Job Note under the context menu for the job on eBoard. One-off charges can be added by office staff on the Tracking job details screen once a job has been created in Tracking (for example, any extra charges incurred for extra equipment bought on the day of the job).
