# TMP Dashboard

The TMP Dashboard is the first tab of the [Dashboard](/eboard/dashboard.md). It shows new booking requests, draft jobs, and every job grouped by where its TMP (Traffic Management Plan) is up to, so your planners can see what needs doing next.

It doesn't include quote-only jobs, archived jobs or deleted jobs. These are on the [Jobs To Quote](/eboard/dashboard/jobs-to-quote.md), [Archived](/eboard/dashboard/archived-jobs.md) and [Deleted](/eboard/dashboard/deleted-jobs.md) tabs.

## Groups

| Group                         | What's in it                                                                                            |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Incoming Booking Requests** | Booking requests received from clients through the [Job Booking Portal](/eboard/job-booking-portal.md). |
| **Draft** | Jobs saved as a draft: not yet ready for a TMP. |
| **TMP Needs Created** | The TMP hasn't been prepared yet. |
| **TMP Ready to be Sent** | The TMP has been drafted but not yet sent to the RCA. |
| **TMP Submitted** | The TMP has been sent to the RCA and is awaiting approval. |
| **TMP Approved** | The TMP has been approved. |
| **TMP About To Expire** | The TMP will expire soon after the last day of the job. |
| **TMP Expired** | The TMP expires before the last day of the job. |

Jobs in **TMP Needs Created**, **TMP Ready to be Sent** and **TMP Submitted** are highlighted red when the TMP Due Date, TMP Window Start Date or job start date is close. How close, and how soon a TMP counts as about to expire, is set in [Warning notices](/eboard/settings/warning-notices.md). Each group heading shows the current cut-off date. Hover over **Key** for what the colours mean.

## Job columns

**Start**, **TMP Due**, **Job Type**, **Job No.**, **Job Ref / TMP Ref / Car Ref / PO**, **Company**, **Location**, **Local/SH** (local road or state highway), **Closures**, **Comms**, **Assigned To**, **Priority**, **Photos** and **TMP**.

Use the **TMP** column's drop-down to open the job's TMP files.

## Moving a job through the TMP stages

Use the job's **⋮** menu to move it to the next stage without opening the job:

| Group                    | Stage actions                       |
| ------------------------ | ----------------------------------- |
| **TMP Needs Created** | **Ready to be Sent**, **Submitted** |
| **TMP Ready to be Sent** | **Submitted**, **Approved** |

The menu also has:

* **Extend TMP Window Date** (TMP Needs Created and TMP Ready to be Sent).
* **Update TMP Reference Number** and **Update Admin Notes**.
* **View Job**, **Email** and **View In Tracking**.

You can also move a job between groups by ticking **TMP Processed**, **TMP Submitted to RCA** and **TMP Approved** in the **Process** section of the job (see [Book a job](/eboard/book-a-job.md#process)).

## Incoming booking requests

Expand **Incoming Booking Requests** to see the **Requested** and **Start** dates, **Request No.**, **Company**, **Contact Name**, **Location**, **Work Activity**, **Assigned To**, **Priority**, **Photos** and **Attachments**. The request's **⋮** menu has **View Booking Request**, **Accept Booking Request** and **Reject Booking Request**. See [Job Booking Portal](/eboard/job-booking-portal.md#handling-requests-in-eboard).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://wiki.roaddirect.co.nz/eboard/dashboard/tmp-dashboard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
